Files and text you type into this generator never leave your browser. There is no upload, no account, and no database of the codes you make.
1. What this site collects
This site is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, no comment system, and no server-side application logic. When you type a URL, a WiFi network name and password, contact details, or a message into the generator, that text is processed by JavaScript running inside your own browser and is used only to draw the QR code image you see.
Nothing you type is transmitted to us. This is a property of how the site is built rather than a policy choice: the generator, the QR encoder, and the image exporter all run locally on your device. You can verify it yourself by opening your browser's developer tools, switching to the network tab, and typing into the form — you will see no request carrying what you typed.
2. Logos you add to a QR code
If you choose to place a logo in the center of a QR code, the image file you select is read using your browser's local file API and converted into an inline image inside the generated SVG. The file is not uploaded. We only accept PNG, JPEG, and SVG files up to 512 KB, and the file never leaves the tab. Closing or refreshing the page discards it.
3. Downloads
PNG and SVG exports are generated in your browser and saved directly to your device using a local download. We do not receive, store, or process the file.
4. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We may use Google Analytics, configured in a privacy-limited way to count visits to this site so we know which pages are useful. If analytics is enabled, it is configured with IP anonymization enabled, and it records aggregate page views and outbound clicks — not the content you typed into any form.
Specifically, one event is recorded when you click a QR code export or download button. That event tells us that the button was used. It does not include the code's content, the URL, the WiFi network name, the password, or any contact detail. The event is used to judge whether the tool is worth keeping, and nothing finer-grained is collected.
Analytics data is retained for a limited period and then deleted. There is no cross-site tracking, no advertising profile built from your visits, and no third-party advertising identifier set while browsing this site.
5. Advertising
This site reserves space for advertising. Advertising is currently not activated. If it is activated in future, that change will be reflected on this page along with a note about the advertising provider, its use of cookies, and how to opt out.
6. Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. If advertising is later activated, third-party advertising cookies may be set, and this section will be updated to describe them and the applicable opt-out tools.
7. Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are not combined with any information you entered into the generator.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the site has no accounts and no server-side handling of form input, there is no personal information held about a visitor beyond standard request logs.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since we do not collect form input, do not operate accounts, and do not build profiles, there is generally nothing held that identifies you beyond transient server logs. If you have a question about a specific log entry, contact us using the details on theabout page.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — most plausibly if advertising is activated or a different analytics provider is used — the "last updated" date above will change and the affected sections will be rewritten to describe the actual practice rather than inherited from a template.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent using the contact details on theabout page. We will respond to privacy questions specifically.
